City of Pacifica Awards PD Solar with Water Treatment Contract

Pacifica California, February 14, 2008
Petersen-Dean, one of the nations largest roofing, waterproofing and solar energy companies announced today that it has been awarded the solar contract to supply and install solar energy for the city's water treatment facility.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for PD Solar and the city of Pacifica to provide a true clean alternative energy source on a city owned project. Over the long haul, the city of Pacifica will be able to use the savings that normally would have been spent on traditional energy sources and use them to benefit their residents in other ways" said Jim Petersen, CEO of Petersen-Dean, Inc.

PD Solar is a subsidiary of Petersen-Dean and is on tract to provide over three megawatts of solar power to California residents in 2008 and looks to double that in 2009.
