Because we take safety seriously at Petersen-Dean, we've established a team of professionals dedicated to creating and maintaining our award-winning safety programs.

Dave Barber
As Executive Director of Safety & Residential Estimating, Dave Barber leads the team. He standardizes our safety programs, insuring consistent policies and practices at each division. He supports the regional safety directors and claims administrators on a daily basis, insuring the effectiveness of our safety programs. Partnerships with OSHA & key customers keep Petersen-Dean a step ahead of the construction industry as a whole.

Josa Mora
As Director of Safety for Petersen-Dean's San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento divisions, Jose Mora follows industry best practices, established company standards, and Cal/OSHA guidelines to ensure that these divisions employ an organized and consistent approach to safety.

Hugo Roman
Gifted at getting workers to truly embrace safety practices, Hugo Roman leads our safety program in Arizona. This Arizona roofing team has been honored with Arizona Home Builders’ "Best of the Best" Award for safety.

Earl “Russ” Wheeler
As Safety Director for Red Rose Roofing, Russ Wheeler leads a strong safety program, achieving near-perfect field compliance. His knowledge of OSHA standards makes him a great leader for the Red Rose team.

Sean Moyna
Sean has led Southern California to safety compliance and achieved buy-in from field supervisors and roofers. His method of targeting crews for re-inspection has resulted in field compliance throughout the region. Initially, crews were reluctant to buy-in until they saw their co-workers being suspended and/or fired for non-compliance.
