Community Outreach

Since its inception, Petersen-Dean has made giving back to the communities where its employees work and live is a key aspect of its corporate mission. Over the years, company leaders have placed a strong emphasis community involvement through their own volunteer efforts and through corporate giving. Among its efforts, Petersen-Dean has been a proud supporter of organizations including the Make a Wish Foundation®, HomeAid and Habitat for Humanity.

Roofs Across America
In light of natural disasters including Hurricane Katrina, Petersen-Dean's executive committee recently voted to create a national program entitled Roofs Across America to benefit of those in need of roofing services across the United States.

This program will furnish up to 12 new roofs per year to selected applicants based on a committee screening process. This process will take into account criteria including:

Region and circumstances surrounding the need
Income level of the applicants
Condition and age of the existing roof
Building ownership and other aspects associated with project feasibility

Applicants selected in this initial screening process will then be personally interviewed. A site survey will also be conducted. Upon final qualification, each chosen applicant will receive a new roof or roof repair within 90 days of program approval.
