Scope/size: One- and three-story sloped buildings for a total of 978 squares (97,800 square feet) of roof tile

Description and Challenges: The project was built for the Broward County Housing Authority. It was originally bid and contracted with a different tile, but the housing authority modified the project’s scope to require LEED certification. To this end, it was a challenge to find a tile that was approved in the reflectivity and emissivity readings required. An in-progress inspection was held every 800 square feet.

Products used: 30# dry-in/90# hot mop, galvanized drip, two screw attachment, with Eagle Malibu tile.
