Description: Small commercial rooftop installation to provide power to the rustic seaside location for an 800-square-foot cafe and retail nursery center. With its generous number of windows, the new structure was also designed to take advantage of passive solar heating.
Scope/size: 404 square feet, 4.02kW AC
Challenge: The installation was new construction with a slightly sloping metal roof with easy access for installers. Blue Sky Farms is a large greenhouse nursery complex that showcases California coastal native plants species. The PV system was installed to power an 800-square-foot retail center and cafe. |
