Scope/size: Three-story sloped buildings for a total of 458 squares (45,800 sq. ft) of standing seam metal roofing
 

Description: Metal roofing atop mixed use commercial-residential three-story construction.
 

This project had its challenges:

Three-story roof with a 7/12 pitch

Working with a contractor unfamiliar with this type of roofing yielded sheathing that required work to fill voids and buckles to ensure smooth application of the metal roofing
 

Lower roofs that needed waterproofing to inhibit leaks before the metal panels were installed

Loading the metal panels (some over 35 feet long) without bending them and strapping them onto the roofs to inhibit their slipping before installation. 

Products Used: 30-lb. Dry-In, VersaShield underlayment, Englert Series 1300 metal panels.
