I don't know if you remember or not but at our last meeting you were very grateful for my help with the Adora Condo Project and asked me if there was anything you could do in return. I asked you to provide me with the name of the very best roofers you've ever dealt with. Without hesitation you came up with Ronn Tripp out of Newark from a company I've never heard of in my twenty-five years of engineering work with commercial and residential buildings, PetersenDean so I gave them a shot.

You know how stubborn I can get after working with me for 8 years now. Well I got half a dozen local bids but Ron Tripp from PetersenDean gave me a bid that included exactly everything I asked for in my call for bids. All the others were deficient in one aspect or another.

Ron was very courteous at every turn. He let me breakout the tile and all shipping costs from his bid to save me some money. I have never worked with a more flexible company. The thing that sold me was the air of confidence and 'do it right' persistence these men had regarding every aspect from final bid to final inspection. For instance, my bid documents called for tile over one layer 30# felt on standard OSB, but they automatically gave us two layers of 30# felt over OSB with a radiant barrier. My bid documents called for just a sheet metal flashing at the entry, but Javier the Job Superintendent brought a couple rolls of torch-down single ply that exactly matched the white tile for no extra charge. It will probably be there 200 years from now- the stuff is indestructible, non-biodegradable, etc.

Ron saved me money on starter tiles by pointing out he could do better with a roof gutter tile starter and the beat goes on. Joe Dean was very flexible and professional for all the local pick-up, stacking and installation. He even paid for half a piggy back load of tile I needed for reserve tile in my side yard and they unloaded and stacked it all because of my bad back. I did a drive-by on your Barbara Way project and it looks awesome.

The crew not only followed, but exceeded safety expectations for Toll Brothers construction operations. The crew on the roof was tied off to a universal anchor with harness and lanyard. The hopper operator had a fully charged fire extinguisher within 10 feet of the burner and was wearing a full face shield to protect against splash.
