PetersenDean Roofing and Solar Systems Issues Challenge To Competitors

August 10, 2011

Newark, Ca.  PetersenDean Roofing and Solar Systems announced today that it would pay to any legitimate competitor $2,500 in cash if they could construct a 5 kW “roof top” solar energy system faster and better than PetersenDean.

Speaking by phone, founder and President Jim Petersen stated “I make the challenge to any solar power builder that if they can beat PetersenDean’s (best in class) construction crews on a 5 kW roof top solar mounted system, I will personally write them a check for $2,500 on the spot. The fact is it won’t happen; no company builds roofs or solar power systems better and more efficiently than PetersenDean. Period!”

PetersenDean has climbed all the way to #1 in the San Francisco Bay Area in terms of its ability to engineer, procure and construct a residential roof top solar energy system.  According to the CSI and the PV Solar Report, PetersenDean has set record growth year over year in terms of residential solar sales and its ability to construct systems in 65 days or less.

KB Homes Northern California - Maple Glen

Dear PetersenDean

I wanted to take the time to acknowledge the foreman for your company that runs the project here at Maple Glen in Fresno. Garrett has been nothing but a pleasure to work with this business year. I know he manages more than this jobsite and also travels quite a bit to do his job, but you couldn’t tell by the quality of work he enforces on his employees every day. He enforces safety daily and regularly checks on the completion of each home. Very rarely do I ever get his voicemail, but when I do I get an immediate phone call back.

I really can’t say enough about his work ethic and his organization. Times are tight with money and the era of having a back end superintendent seem to be forgotten and I really could have used some help with the amount of the production we had going on here at Maple Glen. Garrett really made the job run smooth by having his portion of the business handled. I wish some of the other subs I deal with regularly handled their business the way he does.

I thank you for having him on my project and hope to continue working with him in the near future.

Michael Leon- Superintendent at Maple Glen in Fresno

Regards,

MICHAEL P. LEON

Superintendent at Maple Glen

PetersenDean supports Orlando's "The Blueprint"

Orlando, FL, April 1, 2010 Petersen Dean , the largest privately held roofing and solar installer in the USA, is very proud to be the community leader in its involvement and support of the Orlando City’s plan, called “The Blueprint”.  This plan has been endorsed by Mayor Buddy Dyer.  Petersen Dean is very committed to working with minority-owned businesses and reaching out to Orlando’s impoverished people, who are traditionally the hardest to employ.  Craig Dallas, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, states “We are enthusiastic in our support of the Small Business and Minority Business Owners.  Most importantly, we will employ and train the jobless not only in Orlando, but throughout the state of Florida.” For Petersen Dean, community involvement and support extends to the Boys and Girls Clubs as well the Boy Scouts in the greater Orlando area.  Being the roofer of choice on the new Events Center, Petersen Dean and the Orlando Magic are also creating an “Excellence in Parenting” award for each of the 5 New Community Centers being built by the Magic Ownership in 2009.   Both organizations believe outstanding parenting should be recognized and rewarded, especially for parents struggling to make ends meet but still making the effort to raise responsible and educated children.  Petersen Dean takes pride in being the nation’s most reputable roofing contractor. They are the only nationally certified roofer in Florida by the NAHB Research Center and have one of the nation’s best safety records in the roofing trade.
